We had a ladies final between Casteleyn Squash (Boom) and Fitlink (Diepenbeek).

The first match was between Tine and Ioana, it was an intense match. Ioana won the first 2 games and was cruising to an easy victory but Tine fought back into the match. sche leveled the scores at 2-2. The final game it was a very intense game, both players got matchball but in the end it was tine who won the match with a great comback.

The second match was between Junior European Champion Nele Gilis and here teammate in the Belgian National Team Loreline Pira. Both players won the 2nd division title with the national squash earlier this month on the European Championships.

Nele had an easy first game win but dropped her game in the second. Loreline got back into the match and won the second game.

Both girls knew this was an important match, as if if Nele was to win, it would be the end of this final. Loreline gave everything she had but it wasn't enough. Nele took the 3rd and 4th game and secured the title for Casteleyn Squash. 2-0.

Casteleyn could win all team championships if they won this one (Masters, Ladies and Men).

The first match was between Tom De Mulder and Rick Penders. The first two games were tight. we saw some good squash and a good battle between these two young men. in the 3rd game rick was too good and Tom just not fit enough. Rick took this game 11-1 and so the first match wen to Squash Piramid in 3-0.

Next up was Mahesh Mangaonkar against Steve Finitsis. In the first game they played same amazing squash. it took them 30 min to finish this first game. in the second Steve increased the pace and attacked mahesh from everywhere.  The pace was to high for Mahesh and he lost the 11-2 and 11-1.

Steve was totally pumped and pushed so hard these 2 gams were finished in 20 minutes.
With a score of 6-0 in games, Piramid only needed one more game.

Next match was between Piedro Schweertman and Sebastiaan Weenink. Sebastiaan just returned from Jersey and was feeling a bit sick. He tried his best but lost 3-0 from Piedro who was playing amazing squash. He had only one goal winning 3-0 and keep the Casteleyn Dream alive. Job accomplished.

So the last match of the evening was the one between Stefan Casteleyn and Dylan Bennett. Casteleyn needing 3-0 and Dylan only one game the pressure was on Stefan. The played a tight match and scores leveled until 9-9.
Dylan knew ge was getting real close now and pushed on. He won the the game 11-9.

The Championship stayed in Bruges as Squash Piramid won its second consecutive title.
