BIG UPSETS - HURRAY FOR ENGLAND!

Not sure what happened in the Quarters, when the 3/4 Egyptian
Habiba Koretam lost to English Karina Tyma 4, 3, 3! Wish I
was there to see it. That's one of the upsets.
But what to say about Alice Green bless her! She exits big
favorite Ciara RICHARDS [2] from Wales, 3/1, and confirmed in the
quarters against Scottish Georgia Adderley 3/0!

Pas sûre de ce qui s'est passé en quarts, quand Habiba
Koretam s'est incliné 4, 3, 3, devant l'Anglaise Karina Tyma.
Mais que dire du parcours d'une autre Anglaise, Alice Green qui a
sorti la grande favorite Ciara Richards, du Pays de Galles, et
qui persiste et signe en quarts contre l'Ecossaise Georgia Adderley. |

Julie perd en quart de finale. Elle
menait trop facilement et est tombée dans le piège contre une joueuse
très nonchalante et gênant beaucoup. La Galloise Lowri Roberts a su
faire déjouer Julie et a haussé son niveau de jeu pour l'emporter
finalement 3/2.
Beaucoup de frustration donc, car il y avait la place, mais il faut
garder le positif de cette belle journée pour Julie. Elle est sur le bon
chemin, c'est certain. Il faut continuer à travailler dans cette
direction.
Demain place 5/8, que des bons matchs à jouer pour sa premier année en
U19.

First day and two wins !
I had to wait for a long time to can play my first match … And I won 3/0
against my friend Anthony DOUILLARD 3/0 11/3 11/2 11/2 ;
Then, I played against Jan KURZMAYER and I won also 3/0 11/7 11/4 11/5 :
I played well today and I’m confident for the rest of the competition !
Tomorrow at 1pm in quater final against Emyr EVANS ! Let’s go !
Aujourd’hui, j’ai fait deux bons matchs contre mon partenaire
d’entrainement Anthony DOUILLARD puis Jan KURZMAYER 3/0 : de bonnes
sensations dans l’ensemble et j’ai pris mes marques ! Il y a une très
bonne ambiance : content d’être ici, de pouvoir parler avec les autres
et de s’amuser !
Demain les choses dures commencent : quart de finale contre Emyr EVANS à
13:00

Fr: Petite déception pour nous français, avec la défaite
de notre 5/8 Lucas Rousselet contre l'Anglais Bradley Masters
17/32, dans un match très accroché 11-27-114-1111-611-5. Donc, rien à
regretter.
Par contre, belle performance d'Adrien Grondin, 17/32, qui
s'impose contre le Suisse favori Dimitri Steinmann 3/4, 3/1,
14/12 au dernier. Par contre, moins de chance pour son frère Mathias
qui ne s'incline contre l'un de nos favoris Enzo Corigliano
que 11/8 au 5ème.
Encore un gros match, et un perf pour Luca Wilhelmi, le Suisse,
9/16, contre l'Anglais George Willis, 5/8, 13-11, 11-8, 16-18,
11-8.
Eng: Bad day for France when 5/8 Lucas Rousselet lost to
English Bradley 17/32 in a very close encounter
11-27-114-1111-611-5. But good for Adrien Grondin, 17/32,
overcoming Swiss Dimitri Steinmann 3/4, 3/1, 14/12 in the 4th.
Less chance for his twin brother Mathias losing against another
French, Enzo Corigliano but only 11/8 in the 5th.
And another big match, when Luca Wilhelmi, from Switzerland,
9/16, won a 5 setter against English George Willis, 5/8,
13-11, 11-8, 16-18, 11-8. |
