 A
tough first game which was close all the way with Reuben playing
some great deceptive shots and getting to game ball at 10/9.However
a couple of unforced errors from
Reuben gave the 1st to Rieko 12/10.
This seemed to take the wind out of the Englishman's sails and
from now on Reiko was dominant, playing beautifully to win
through 3/0.

This was a fantastic match
played at a very high tempo.
The two young Englishmen know each others games well and this
showed throughout the match. Lyell started well hitting a great
line and length but Angus' athleticsm and unorthodox play kept
him on top to win the 1st 11/4.
 The
second started in the same pattern but a controversial no-let
decision against Angus unsettled him and his winners turned to
errors. Lyell took full advantage and levelled the match at 1/1.
Lyell was now playing some excellent squash and in control of
the rallies in the 3rd with Angus hanging on to 9/9. Slightly
fortunately Angus won the next 2 points to scrape through 11/9.
In the 4th Lyell never gave up but now Angus was playing some
incredible shots again and in control to take the match 3/1.
