Sa longueur de balle et son anticipation ont fait la différence.

Une des finales les plus brèves, faisant regretter d'autant plus le faux pas de Christophe André que Jens redoutait beaucoup.

Total domination from Jens, from the first point to the last! His length and good read of the ball made the difference.

One of the shortest final of our 34 editions. What would have happened if Christophe André didn't have that faux pas... We know for a fact Jens was weary of him...

Dommage pour l'écossais qui mène 9/7 dans le 2eme et 10/5 dans le 3eme et à chaque fois Jens serre le jeu et porte des attaques tranchantes.

De nombreuses décisions à prendre pour Laurent Combaluzier et un match vraiment difficile à arbitrer.

Hard luck for the Scott who was leading 9/7 in the 2Nd, and 10/5 in the third only to see his lead melt with Jens getting back in the game and finding his lethal short game. A difficult match to ref for Laurent Combaluzier, a lot of decisions.

Daniel Mekbib (Cze) 3-0 Dimitri Steinmann (Sui)

Dimitri semblait bien installé dans le match en menant au début des 2 premiers jeux , mais la prise de balle tellement rapide de Daniel lui posa des problèmes insurmontables.

Au début du match Daniel paraissait plus entamé mais dans le 2eme et 3eme jeu,  Dimitri accusa le coup de tous les efforts fait pour récupérer des balles alors qu'il était parti à contre pied.

Dimitri seemed comfy up as he had a good lead in the first two games, but as Daniel took the ball earlier and earlier, the Swiss was unable to find solutions.

Daniel looked like very tired at the start of the match, but in fact, the hard work Dimitri produced in the first game and all the wrongfooting he faced cause him to tire in the end.

Nous espérons donc une grande finale entre le favori Jens Schoor et l'outsider au jeu tellement incisif.

We are hoping for a great final, between favourite Jens Schoor and the outsider with his sharp attacking squash.

Match à sens unique dans ce premier quart de finale, la tête de série numéro 1 n'a pas laissé respirer son adversaire. L'Allemand n'a concédé que 6 points dans le match, conclu 3 jeux 0 en 18 minutes.
One-way match for this first match of the day, top seed took his opponent by the throat and never let go, only losing 6 points in the whole match, folded in 18m.

Douglas KEMPSELL 3-0 Martin SVEC

Partie accrochée malgré le score; Kempsell a fait preuve de précision, régularité et de patience.
Dans un âpre combat, Martin Svec n'a pas trouvé de solution malgré les encouragements de ses partenaires venus le soutenir

Score doesn't tell the whole story, a tough battle with the Scot imposing his accuracy, patience and steadiness. After a truly disputed battle, Svec was unable to find answers despite a strong vocal support from his compatriots.

Dimitri Steinmann 3-1 Roee Avraaham

Un beau combat avec une défense héroïque de l'Israélien Avraaham, qui nous a gratifié de nombreux plongeons et grands écarts. Le match aura pu aller en cinq jeux, mais Dimitri Steinmann était plus précis et régulier;

A superb battle that was, with a heroic defence from Avraaham, who offered a delighted crowd numberous dives and full splits! It could easily have gone to 5, but Steinman's game was more accurate and lower percentage.

Daniel Mekbib (Cze) 3-0 Robert Dadds (Eng)

Daniel vraiment au dessus , plus rapide , prenant la balle plus tot et déplaçant Robert aux 4 coins du court.
Daniel just a step above today, faster, taking the ball earlier and moving his opponent all around the court.
